Hours Our regular business hours: Mon - Fri 10am - 5pm, excluding holidays. “After Hours” is defined as follows: Monday – Thursday 5pm – 10am and Friday 5pm – Monday 10am. All times defined as Pacific Time, local to San Francisco, CA. Standard Support Payments: Customers must either sign up for a support contract or pay by credit card at the time of service. Standard New Customer Payment Terms: A down payment of 50% of the purchase price shall be made payable to Prescient Resource Group upon acceptance by signature of the proposal and prior to any equipment being ordered. The unpaid balance is due and payable upon the equipment being shipped or delivered and set-up on the site of the installation. The final payment is also due no later than 90 after the acceptance date, even if the installation is not complete. There will be a 30% restocking fee if the order is canceled after any software or equipment has been ordered. Warranty Specifications: New hardware and related components are warranted by their manufacturer for a minimum period of 365 days from the date of sale unless otherwise specified on the proposal. An extended service agreement is available after the 365-day period has expired. The warranty on hardware includes the replacement of defective parts, not labor to install, and travel time to place the equipment in proper use for the above-mentioned time period. Prescient Resource Group does not warranty any equipment supplied by the customer. If any equipment supplied by the customer causes any type of malfunction or any hardware or software damage to the system or to any equipment supplied by Prescient Resource Group neither Prescient Resource Group nor the manufacturer is under any obligation to warranty, replace or service free of charge any part of the damaged equipment or system operations affected. The software warranty on new systems, covers minor adjustments for a period of 30 days unless otherwise specified on the proposal. Specific software will be warranted to perform the functions outlined on the program guidelines unless otherwise specified in the proposal. . Prescient Resource Group does not warrant third party software such as PcCharge software, PayWare or any Datacap product and cannot help with its setup, implementation or support. Buyer acknowledges that the government, credit card providers, banks, and credit card processing companies implement and require specific laws, regulations and policies in conjunction with credit cards and services. Buyer shall be solely responsible for compliance with all laws, policies, rules, regulations, and procedures required by the government, credit card companies, banks, and/or processors. Damage by negligence or a third party is not covered under the manufacturer’s or Prescient Resource Group warranties. Electronic equipment extended warranties are available for all products, including software, provided by Prescient Resource Group. The customer may choose agreements that cover periods from normal daytime operating hours to full twenty-four hour coverage. Special quotes will be provided for coverage outside normal operating hours. Prescient Resource Group monitors a 24-hour emergency pager for emergency after hours calls The definition of an "Emergency Service Call" is defined as, your entire system is not working not just one aspect of it. And that you have taken all measures to rectify the emergency suggested on the support portal before you call.. Calls not covered by maintenance agreements are billed to the user by hourly rates payable upon receipt of services rendered. A 24-hour / 7-day a week emergency help desk support line is available on a yearly basis for an additional charge. Prescient Resource Group also offers a 24-hour, 7-day a week phone support service at an additional charge after the above-mentioned warranties have expired. We are firmly convinced that our service and support is the best in our market place. We will provide references upon request. Our goal is to supply our customers not only with the point of sale system, but to build a relationship as your total solutions provider. Disclaimer: Restaurant Manager software is PCI compliant when installed and setup by Prescient Resource Group. Prescient Resource Group cannot be held liable for any changes to the software after installation of that results in legal action of any kind. It is recommended that the buyer contact a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) that is certified in PCI compliance to evaluate their risks. The Prescient Resource Group is not a QSA and there for cannot certify compliance, but may assist implementing any changes the QSA recommends. As mentioned above the Prescient Resource Group does not warrant third party software such as PcCharge software or any Datacap product and cannot help with its setup, implementation or support. This warranty does not include any costs associated with correcting inadequate AC wiring that may exist in the building. Prescient Resource Group is prepared to offer our honest opinion of corrective measures needed to fix these problems. Problems with hardware or software caused by improper or inadequate wiring is not covered under the warranty. Furthermore, it is recommended that this AC equipment be properly connected to a dedicated line. Corrective measures are the responsibility of the end user .Prescient Resource Group recommends the use of UPSs to ensure proper operation at each station and server. However, it is not required that these products be purchased from us. Disputes: Any dispute made buy against The Prescient Resource Group or its employees must be settled through arbitration in Contra Costa County California. The maximum settlement may not be greater then the amount paid. Reimbursable items and Travel time: Travel time, if applicable, shall be billed at one half (½) of Consultant’s hourly rates, except for messenger time, which will be billed in full. Said travel expenses shall be noted on Consultant's invoice to Client, and shall be paid in accordance with the billing terms. Reimbursable Items also include faxing, copying, long distance phone calls, parking, travel expenses and other reimbursable expenses, and will be charged at cost.
